Welcome to the SBRT website

Founded in 1983, the Small Business Research Trust set out to increase the understanding of small business issues and bring them to the attention of politicians and the media. Through the current chairman, Brian Wolfe, the Trust continues to promote the interests of small businesses.

Among its activities, the Trust has played a key role in supporting the All-Party Parliamentary Small Business Group (APPSBG) since it began in 1997, acting as a bridge between politicians and small businesses.

Key objectives:

• » Working with sponsors to promote relevant research on current small business issues
• » Providing current and easily understood facts and trends on small businesses
• » Disseminating information about small business issues to Parliament, Government, the media, academia and the business community
